Fleming Enjoys a Successful Southampton Boat Show
Tony Fleming's VENTURE II, his newest Fleming 65, was a star of the Southampton Boat Show. Having just arrived back from its exciting voyage to Iceland, Fleming himself was onboard for much of the show to welcome potential buyers and Fleming enthusiasts. "The overall crowd attendance and optimism was extremely promising," said Duncan Cowie of Fleming Yachts. "We see things improving here in Europe, and we hope to find the same enthusiasm when we get to the fall shows in the States." This year's Southampton Boat Show also marked the one-year anniversary of Fleming's new European Sales Office located in the Shamrock Quay Marina in Southampton.
38 Flemings Participate in Burr Yacht's Rendezvous!
The highly anticipated Burr Yacht Sales rendezvous was an incredible success with 38 Flemings and over 120 owners participating. On September 8th, the fleet assembled at the Burr Yacht Sales marina in Edgewater, MD. Albin Caterpillar provided lunch and everyone participated in a wine tasting presented by Paul Breaux of Breaux Vineyards coupled with appetizers from The Perfect Gourmet. On Friday, the Fleming Fleet stretched for over two miles across the Chesapeake Bay as they made their way to the picturesque harbor of St. Michaels. Friday's festivities wrapped up with a cocktail party at the Maritime Museum where Tony discussed cruising to Iceland and Nicky Fleming demonstrated a Switlik liferaft to the tunes of a jazz trio. Cummins Marine and RDI/MAN helped to bring the evening together and make it a hit. Saturday morning started with breakfast by Aegis Marine and seminars by FLIR, KVH and a Power Service Products diesel fuel additive technology seminar by Ed Kramer. All the attendees were treated to a crab feast Saturday afternoon courtesy of Fleming Yachts. The light rain didn't dampen Sunday morning's breakfast from Jack Martin Associates and Sterling Acceptance. The weekend was a rousing success with the docks of St. Michaels overflowing with Flemings and their owners!

A Fleming 55 and 65 were displayed at the recently held Sydney Boat Show in Australia where the attendees showed a keen interest in the Fleming product line. FLEMING HAS SUCCESSFUL 2010 MIAMI BOAT SHOW
Fleming displayed its popular 65' and 55' models at the 2010 Miami International Boat Show in February to an admiring crowd. Although show attendance was affected by a crippling blizzard in the Northeast, many of those who attended were serious buyers. Fleming sold a new 55 and 65 during the Show. The 65 will be delivered to the West Coast, while the 55 is for an East Coast customer. "While we haven't fully recovered from the economic downturn, more and more people are concluding that the time is right to invest in a new Fleming," say Duncan Cowie of Fleming. "Our yachts hold their value year after year, and people are deciding that they don't want to wait forever to enjoy owning one of our fine yachts."

On display at this year's Southampton Boat Show were a Fleming 55 and the brand new Fleming 65, VENTURE II, Tony Fleming's personal yacht. This journey will be a continuation of Tony Fleming's "20,000-Mile Voyage of Discovery" that he started on VENTURE I, his Fleming 65.
The boat show benefited from ideal weather conditions, and organizers and exhibitors alike were very pleased with the attendance and overall sales activity. Both Flemings had a steady stream of interested visitors, and two Fleming 55s were sold. Duncan Cowie of Fleming commented, "This was one of the most optimistic shows we've attended in quite some time. We came here cautiously optimistic and are looking forward to the next series of shows with increased enthusiasm."
