Born and educated in London, Simon joined the British Army as a Seaman/Navigator, where he navigated British Army vessels up to 75 meters, and taught navigation at the Ocean/Celestial level. Following his 20-year military career he became principal at the largest RYA (Royal Yachting Association) approved powerboat training school in the UK. He later took on the post of after-sales service manager with the European Fleming dealer, which he held for five years before joining Fleming Yachts.
Simon is responsible for ensuring that all Fleming Yachts meet or exceed the requirements of CE, ABYC, and other regulations. He is also charged with producing owner’s manuals, technical files, and liaises with our dealers regarding service and after-sales technical support.
